Erin has a unique ability to craft concise, compelling grant proposals and grant reports that show the breadth and depth of the work done during a reporting period. She also excels at persuasive email communication that encourages readers to take action, including newsletters, fundraising emails, sustained marketing campaigns and advocacy action alerts.
Erin has a passion for connecting the dots to tell a great story. When Erin isn't being a word nerd, she loves spending time with her family and staying optimistic about her ability to learn to play tennis. She currently serves on the board of a public charter school.
Graduated with honors with a major in Communications and minors in English and Business Administration.

In addition to holding a M.Ed, Erin has spent nearly two decades working in education and educational choice through both local nonprofits providing direct services and statewide member organizations focused on passing good legislation. She amplified organizational budgets by $4 million and acquired 115 new donors through highly effective fundraising and impactful donor communications.
Erin has written proposals and received multiple grants from Walton Family Foundation, Walton Education Coalition, Houston Endowment, KLE Foundation, Brown Foundation, Brackenridge Foundation, Ewing Halsell Foundation, Miles Foundation, National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, City Fund, Herzstein Foundation, individual donors, and many more. Most grants received multi-year renewals based on high-quality reporting. Grants from foundations and individual donors supported a $4 million growth in the organization's annual budget during Covid.
