Dave has earned two degrees one is a bachelors degree from UW-Stout and the other is an equivalent to an associates degree from Dunwoody College.
Dave has just earned a Bachelors degree in Professional Communications and Emerging Media at the University of Wisconsin Stout. Dave's Applied Field is Environmental Ethics. Dave has several articles published in the Wisconsin Natural Resources Magazine. The first article is about the new black bear population survey conducted in 2011 the second article is about the Christmas wreath making industry in Northern Wisconsin. A third article will be published in the fall issue of the magazine about Saw-whet owls. Dave's articles are very well researched by interviewing expert wildlife and forestry professionals. Dave would like to continue writing content about important environmental issues.
Dave has worked as a seasonal Fisheries Technician for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Dave has experience working with Adobe In Design, Photoshop, Frame maker, and Illustrator.
Dave also has a two-year degree in machine design from Dunwoody College in Minneapolis, Min. and twenty years of experience as a contract senior mechanical designer working for companies like 3M and Eastman Kodak. He has worked as a lead designer for large projects designing and upgrading conveying equipment to increase plant capacity.
Dave has also worked as a lead designer on several large waste control projects that had to comply with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources ordinances. Dave would like to leverage this mechanical experience to write technical manuals and instructions.
Dave has also been certified by the State of Wisconsin as an AutoCAD instructor.
Dave's experience as a mechanical designer gave him precise communicating skills.

Interests

Dave's interests are just about everything to do with the outdoors: hunting, fly-fishing, canoeing, and training hunting dogs. He lives on the South Fork of the Flambeau river in a log cabin that he built himself.
