V's biggest writing strengths come from the creative side. She is very well-versed in both rhetoric and poetic devices and how these can be used to connect with a specific community of readers. While she leans more toward the creative writing style, she is a versatile writer who can command attention to detail within more professional documents.
V's interests include everything creative; painting, singing, sculpting, and writing poetry and essays, all while either listening to music or binging a new series on TV. V also enjoys getting outside in the Pacific Northwest, hiking, camping, and lounging at the lake or beach. With her remaining time, V spends a lot of time reading and snuggled up with her cats next to the fire.
V has worked on the Editorial Collective of Strait Up Magazine, helping to put out the last three issues of this local non-profit arts and literary magazine. Responsibilities for the magazine include but are not limited to, pitching article ideas, reading and selecting creative writing and art content, reaching out to local businesses for ad sales, maintaining deadlines for publication, and distribution.
As this was work with a non-profit, V and the rest of the Editorial Collective do not receive payment for any volunteer services.
V has experience writing detailed email newsletters, press releases, and social media content for her current copywriting position. Her current experience focuses on crypto companies and market fit research on cryptocurrency use and needs within specific demographics.
The newsletters V has written for her current position have centered around market value and the history of new companies being added to her employer's investment app. These newsletters went out bimonthly for a few months before V started work on country market fit research pages for internal use.
