Katherine's writing specialties include journaling, blogging, essay writing, researching, copy writing, and journalism. Upon getting the experience of working at a TV station, she has gained skills in specifically writing scripts for television and digital media platforms.
For Katherine, the whole writing process itself is of great interest, even down to the research that often goes into it. When not writing on a professional basis, she keeps a personal journal in her spare time. She also writes blogs about some of her favorite niches, including animals, space, and almost anything science-related. Being so invested in writing, another passion of hers that seems to compliment the hobby is reading. She loves reading books whenever she can, particularly classic novels.
Katherine graduated from Concord University with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication in December of 2020. She started at Marshall University with a brief stint in the psychology department there. When she made the decision to transfer to Concord she also decided to change her major, and journalism has since proven to be the right fit for her.
While Katherine was at school she took a few different marketing classes. In those courses, she and a team of other students conducted different marketing projects. One of the projects consisted of working with a foster care organization to help make updates to their marketing plan through redesigning their logo, creating and launching ad campaigns, etc. For a different project, Katherine was actually chosen as the leader and was put in charge of conducting another marketing plan for the school's food pantry.
Katherine has a rather extensive bit of experience in this area. In addition to putting news stories in article format for work on Wordpress, she also has experience writing articles on the site for her own personal blog. She has also written articles for various companies through her last content writing gig. Her experience with article writing varies through different types, formats, and content.
