Jamie spends a good chunk of her time writing practice area pages and consumer-oriented blog articles for law firms. She enjoys conducting research and speaking with SMEs in the field in order to understand legal concepts and write about them for a general audience. She also works on general marketing copy, bringing a touch of wit to her writing where appropriate.
When Jamie isn't writing, she's playing games with her friends, out on a drive exploring the Pacific Northwest, or falling down a research rabbit hole on something that's caught her eye. Previous examples include the history of the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse and the series of events leading up to the Boeing 737 Max crashes.
Jamie has been writing blog posts for law firms since her start in copywriting in 2019. She has since written landing pages and practice area pages in addition to blog posts, and continues to expand her presence in the legal niche. Her copy focuses primarily on personal injury law, family law, and qui tam law.
Jamie's first job after college was with a full-service marketing firm. She functioned as the Content Specialist, handling both copywriting and social media and was able to observe and learn from other departments in her time there, giving her a basic knowledge of HighLevel and WordPress.
Writing blog posts about relevant industry topics was Jamie's first experience in the copywriting sphere. She comes up with article titles and ideas based off of SEO keywords, relevant news, and pain points she notices in customers. Her articles have helped to drive organic traffic for clients in multiple niches, including pest control, home improvement, and law.
