Kirsten graduated summa cum laude from Saint Leo University with a BA in Global Studies and English with a Professional Writing specialization.

While attending university, Kirsten balanced NCAA sports, her double major, and working as a Writing Tutor and Embedded Tutor at the Center for Academic Vision and Excellence. As a tutor, Kirsten instructed students on formatting, content, grammar, spelling, paper structure, and other writing skills. She also attended ENG 110 classes six times a week and assisted the professor and students in a classroom setting.

During college, she interned at Proimpact Marketing Consultancy, where helped write blogs and web copy about clients and marketing services and develop engaging website copy for over 20 clients from various countries, including Ecuador, Libya, and Italy. She conducted outreach efforts for onboarding clients, developed press releases, social media posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials. After her internship completed, she continued to freelance with the company for the next three years.

Once Kirsten graduated from Saint Leo, she was hired as a copywriter by a fast-paced healthcare marketing agency just three weeks after graduating. At LEVO Health, she became a vital part of the content creation team, tackling multiple short-term and long-term tasks for our 30+ clients around the country. Developing engaging copy, maintaining the client’s voice, conducting extensive research about complex topics, understanding the audience, staying updated on the latest social media trends, and using keywords to boost SEO were all communication skills she was able to enhance during this opportunity.
