Chris has experience in media-style feature and event writing, as well as marketing, public relations, web content, social media, blog posts, SEO content and fiction writing in a variety of genres. Additionally, Chris is a skilled and experienced copy editor, content editor and ghostwriter.
Chris has a minor in film studies and is very knowledgeable in that field. He also is an avid sports fan and has written on many sports-related subjects, including betting and fantasy sports. Chris is also the step-father of a special needs son and brings a different perspective to the associated highs and lows.
Chris spent 7 years in the A/E field, and was responsible for content ranging from newsletter articles to white papers to project sheets.
Chris currently handles social media for a nonprofit organization in New York State and has extensive experience in sourcing, writing, scheduling, and posting. His experience includes posts of varying lengths on a wide cross-section of topics.
Chris was solely responsible for production of a quarterly newsletter in the A/E field. Duties included developing article ideas, interviewing and writing, photography, and newsletter pagination.
Chris has more than 40 years of article-writing experience, starting as a high school student covering sports events for his local newspaper. During his lengthy career, Chris has worked on articles ranging from long and short features to film reviews to travel and tourism pieces.
Chris recently completed writing on two books - one for middle grade readers and the other a picture book - and is currently working on two others.
