-Ann is an experienced curriculum writer in the area of Social and Emotional Learning and Mindfulness.
-Ann co-authored a book in 2016. Ann wrote the mini-meditations that accompanied each coloring page.
-Ann has written a multitude of presentations that have been delivered to a wide variety of groups including educators, families, and community organizations.
Ann writes prolifically on topics related to Autism, Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness and Education. Ann has a passion for equitable services for families and their special needs children. This dedication is strongly conveyed throughout Ann's writing on the topic. Ann is very interested in neuroscience and the brain. Through her own research and experiences, Ann has learned to use mindfulness to improve her well-being. She has delivered her own mindfulness curriculum and presentations to a wide variety of individuals and groups.
Ann loves to enjoy the outdoors hiking, cycling, paddle boarding, swimming and hanging out on the beach. In the winter, you can find Ann snowshoeing, x-country skiing and downhill skiing.

Ann earned her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis in April of 2003. She has since been licensed by the State of CT as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Ann has written and presented more than 30 workshops related to Special Education, Mindfulness, Social Emotional Learning and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Ann has delivered these workshops on platforms such as Crowdcast, Zoom and Google Meets.
Prior to virtual learning, Ann was asked to speak in person in Public and Private Schools, Day Cares and Community Centers. She was also invited to give seminars at the CT Mindfulness in Education conference for two consecutive years.
Ann is a Special Education Teacher, Certified ACT facilitator, and Licensed Behavior Analyst. For the past 30 + years, Ann has worked in the Public Schools, Early Intervention, and as an outside consultant to Public School Programs. Ann’s primary focus has been supporting children with special needs and their families.
As a certified ACT Matrix facilitator, Ann uses the Matrix to support Educators, Students, and families. Ann is a true believer in teaching explicit Social Emotional Learning skills to children and finds the ACT Matrix a very beneficial tool for her clients and students.
In addition to her degree in Special Education, she earned her certificate in Behavior Analysis in 2003 and is a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of CT.
