Dr. Amber completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2011 and has been working as a clinical psychologist since that time. She has an additional Masters degree in Counseling and Personnel Services
Dr. Amber published an article in a peer reviewed academic journal on depression during pregnancy. The article was based on original research, with extensive literature review, statistical data, and interpretation of results.
Dr. Amber has written a chapter in a book on process addictive behavior, focusing on gaming and online additions, etiology, and treatment. Also included in the book were chapters on shopping, eating, and sex addiction and how these maladaptive behaviors differ from more traditional substance addictions.
