When Julie was six years old, she wrote a story about her stuffed dog who could fly a plane for a first grade assignment. When she saw that "A+ GREAT JOB! Very creative!" on the top of her paper, she was hooked. Throughout school, she wrote poems, short stories and even a play that won 3rd place in a state play-writing competition. Then college hit, and she went 'technical' in my career choice; since then, she has often used her writing abilities for technical and professional writing purposes. However, whenever she is tasked with writing or giving a presentation, she tends to take a more creative, relaxed approach- Julie discovered long ago that people tend to stay engaged when the presentation makes them laugh a bit.
