Andrea G. writes a blog, "4initalia" about the delicious confusion of living in Italy, a country that institutionalized anarchy. She has published humor articles, including "Piccolina," which appeared on the Erma Bombeck Writer's Workshop website, and is presently working on an Italian memoir.
Andrea G. serves on the Sustainability Committee for an advisory committee serving her local City Council, has taught Sustainability at the college level, and has been invited to speak to civic organizations, students, and activists on water quality, air quality, climate change, and international environmental law. In addition, she has published multiple articles on environmental issues, including energy development, "An EPA Hearing is So, Like, High School" and water quality, "U.S. Water Quality: No Day at the Beach." Her letter to the editor regarding pesticide regulation,"U.S. Regulation of Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals,” was published in The New Yorker magazine.
Andrea G. understands environmental and natural resources laws because she litigated many of the major laws on behalf of federal and state environmental agencies and environmental organizations, and has taught more than twenty of those laws at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. She translates complex legal, technical, and scientific data into well-researched articles accessible to all readers, from legal experts to the general public. Andrea G. founded Onward Environmental Advocates, L.L.C. (OEA) to provide local governments and environmental advocates the knowledge and tools they need to use environmental law effectively.
