Logan writes about topics including video games, urban gardening, cooking, and woodworking.
His academic interests include writing pedagogy, new media, and digital humanities.
Logan currently enjoys living with two cats and working as a reading and writing tutor. His hobbies include restoring antique furniture, looking at pictures of kitchens on the internet, coffee, Minecraft, apartment gardening, zero-waste living, reading, and cycling.
Logan is a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), majoring in English and American Language and Literature and minoring in Education. While at UTC, he worked as Outreach Manager, Assistant Editor, and Managing Editor for three literary journals. He also worked for two years as a writing tutor in UTC's new state-of-the-art library.
In addition to three years of working in publishing in editorial positions for three literary journals, Logan has written about issues in the industry including gender and racial diversity.
Logan's successful proposal writing includes one travel grant proposal, four academic conference proposals, and IRB approval for research.
Logan's work experience includes three years of editorial work for literary journals where he wrote email copy soliciting submissions from authors, advertising special programs to writers and university administrators, and communicating weekly tasks to team members via Facebook posts.
