I like volunteering, going to the theatre, walking my dogs, reading, and traveling. I've been to 25 countries.
As a former manager of foundation and community relations for a charter school, Holland wrote grant proposals, fundraising letters, marketing materials, and student recruitment pieces. He transitioned that skill into writing for highereducation.com, the largest marketing agency for online higher education institutions in the US. As one of their writers, he served as part of the team that created the online higher education bank for US News & World Report.
Holland is the blogger for a major luxury pet brand in New York City. As such, he has written nearly 100 articles about cats, an animal he never fully appreciated until he started this job. He also blogs for MediaFusion, a software platform industry and for Wolf Technology Group, an outsourced IT firm. Holland's own blogs appear on Almost An Author and occasionally on the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference Blog.
