Olivia is an honors graduate of the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars, one of the top ten writing programs in the U.S. She spent four years on Dean's List and was recognized as a Bloomberg Scholar, the university's top merit-based award.
She was also a Woodrow Wilson Research Fellow, a four-year research program selecting ten new Fellows annually. Her Fellowship culminated in a novel, a novella, and collections of poetry and short fiction. In the course of research, she spent six months at the University of Oxford and conducted cultural research in 11 European countries.
Olivia spent three years as Director of Marketing for a literary magazine in Baltimore, during which time she tripled the magazine's social media following on three platforms, doubled circulation and doubled the number of annual submissions.
She has also spent the past year as a freelance blogger for an SEO company with a product/services marketing as a primary focus.
Olivia has been a successful social media marketer for the past several years as Director of Marketing for a Baltimore literary magazine, as Director of Marketing for a successful Washington, DC theatre, as a Marketing/Editorial intern for a successful news media startup, and now as the primary writer and marketer for two blogs. In her roles as Director, she spearheaded dozens of successful social media campaigns doubling the magazine's readership and generating the biggest registration numbers the theatre had seen in four years.
Olivia spent three years as Director of Marketing for a literary magazine in Baltimore, worked as Director of Marketing at a successful theatre in Washington, DC, and spent three years as a journalist for a Detroit-area newspaper. She has written several successful press releases doubling news coverage for the theatre, tripling the magazine's following and significantly growing the newspaper's readership.
Olivia has worked as a blogger for the past four years, both for her own freelance businesses and for other companies. She now runs two successful freelance blogs for profit and is a contributing blogger for a successful SEO site with clients worldwide.
