John loves crafting the story of a small business in a way that will show potential customers that "this is the place to be." He specifically enjoys writing content for restaurants, auto repair shops, and home improvement contractors. By using clean and precise language, he is able to convey a client's expertise and services to the public.
An avid college and NFL football fan, John spends his fall weekends cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. This means that John's football Saturdays are generally filled with excitement while his football Sundays are filled with despair. He and his wife enjoy traveling and reading together, as well as enjoying the Marvel & DC movies and TV shows like The Office, Elementary, TURN: Washington's Spies, and Longmire. John is a history buff and loves learning everything he can about the American Civil War, the Titanic and other maritime disasters, World War II, and the Christian church.
John attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University (then Mount Vernon Nazarene College) where he studied education with an emphasis in history. He also served as the student assistant to the Sports Information Director, a role in which he prepared pregame and postgame write-ups and reported to local, state, and national media regarding MVNC athletics.
John attended Central Ohio Technical College where he studied digital media design and marketing. He used the skills he honed at COTC to do freelance work for local businesses and churches, as well as in his "day job" as a digital production artist.
John has written a bit about politics and has a genuine concern about discourse in America and around the world today. He has a passion to keep that discourse civil whenever possible and find common ground with those on "the other side."
John's content work on behalf of his clients' websites is delivered in a concise and informative manner. He doesn't fill the page with useless information, and he avoids "keyword stuffing," as that is something that the major search engines advise against.
