This was a compensated post for RepairPal. They were interested in automotive histoy and trivia. Though the author is by no means an automotive expert, she found this bit of historical trivia fascinating and hoped readers would too. It illustrates what the autor can do outside her comfort zone
Wrote for a few blogs and Fashion Republic Magazine. Edited other works. Did a lot of research, vis a vis on-line, popular fashion magazines and observation and interviews with people in the know. The work done for Fashion Republic was as an unpaid intern. This post was done for compensation from Armenian Bridal.
The author took it upon herself to aid TV Tropes with their re-cap pages of Star Trek: The Original Series. As the show has it's campy moments, the author's recaps of this series tend to be a bit tongue in cheek. This re-cap is based on the season one episode "The Squire of Gothos".
This article was written (but not yet picked up) for a gym looking for stories on healthy eating. Since the author's husband recently had to reduce his sodium intake, she had some practical experience with the subject of a low-sodium diet. She is by no means an expert, but knows where to find people who are.
The author wrote the horoscope page for Fashion Republic Magazine. Since it was a fashion magazine, the audience was independent women who liked to stay on top of fashion trends and the horoscope reflects it.
This got a 4 star rating from Green Dragon Roasters who found it "interesting and informative" as well as an enjoyable read. It's a bit of coffee history that explains how the Muppets owe their success to coffee.
This is an article written for the Spring/Summer 2016 edition of Fashion Republic Magazine on the subject of (then) current street fashion. The author's research found that the previous retro fad was dying and flashy decor and originality was in. Since the editor was something of a Francophile, the author tossed in a few French terms.
This is a screenplay called The Mexican Pet based on the urban legend about a woman who smuggles what she thinks is a chihuahua from Mexico to the States only to find out it's actually a rat. The principle female character is a somewhat flighty rich lady. The piece also demonstrates the author's ability to use the Spanish language.
This article was written for Fashion Republic Magazine in light of Le Vian's new production line in 2015. It showcases their new color varieties, new patterns and equestrian themes.
