Kylie attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where she earned a degree in biomedical science. With the original intent to attend medical school, Kylie's career path changed when she accepted a temporary position teaching 7th grade science. After teaching for a year on an emergency certification, Kylie completed an alternate certification program and began a career in education.
After teaching for 11 years, Kylie returned to school and earned her masters degree in educational leadership and administration.
Kylie holds a bachelors in biomedical science from Texas A&M University, and a masters in educational leadership and administration from the University of Texas in Tyler. As a veteran teacher of 15 years, Kylie has taught math and science from grades 6th through 12th. Her articles about project based learning and technology integration in the classroom have been published by the Science Teachers Association of Texas publication, and she recently led a professional development workshop at the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teachers.
