For over 15 years Patrick worked in feature film production and development, specializing in reading, analyzing, and developing feature film treatments and screenplays into films. During his time with ContentFilm and SonyBMG Film he read hundreds and maybe thousands of screenplays, while providing, analyses and notes on many of them in the course of developing various film projects. Over the years he was involved in films such as cult classics The Hebrew Hammer and Party Monster, as well as critically acclaimed films The King, The Cooler, the documentary Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten, as well as Cadillac Records with Jeffery Wright, Adrien Brody and Beyonce and the recently released London Calling.
Throughout his career Patrick has written in a variety of formats. For almost 10 years he wrote regular music and event reviews along with a column on New York City nightlife for two prominent club music websites. Film wise, he has completed over a dozen feature film screenplays, as well as a number of treatments for both film and TV, and a couple of short film scripts as well. He has also written musician and artist biographies, interviews, CD liner notes, short stories, and the occasional blog post. Most recently he has worked on treatments and commercial scripts for Bend Creative and currently writes articles for thesportster.com.
