Lyra has written at least 20 articles highlighting or profiling students, from high school to graduate-school level. She enjoys writing about research, school projects and important new developments in education.
Lyra has written numerous articles on nonprofit initiatives and events in coastal Oregon communities. Through her words, she highlights the work nonprofits and other organizations do in their communities to make a difference.
Lyra has written at least 20 articles about local government issues as a community news reporter through covering City Council meetings, interviewing government officials and city staff, and more.
Lyra has written articles on various subjects, from business to the environment, for the following local newspapers: Cannon Beach Gazette, Seaside Signal, Daily Astorian, St. Paul Pioneer Press and Minnesota Daily. She has also written short pieces for Seattle magazine.
For more than a year, Lyra highlighted graduate students' research and graduate initiatives for the University of Minnesota. The articles were published both on the Graduate School's web page and in email newsletters sent to students, teachers, alumni and more.
