Lauren has been writing reviews of restaurants, bars, and food ever since she began her first blog back in January of 2016 (Girl in Gotham City). In early 2018, Lauren began more formally writing about her experiences dining out in NYC as the primary NYC contributor for the lifestyle blog Hedonist/Shedonist. Currently, Lauren works as the food and drink editor at Music & Mojitos, and entertainment outlet based in NYC. In addition to writing extensively about the food and drink scene and reviewing the hottest bars and restaurants, Lauren has established several partnerships with well-known brands in the food and hospitality industry.
Lauren is active in the food and kitchen industry, which includes the tangential topics of health and wellness. She has written several articles on diets (Keto, Paleo, Whole 30) as well as anti-diet culture, body acceptance, and health at every size.
Lauren is a contributor at Ariana Huffington's newest platform, Thrive Global, which focuses on health, wellness, sleep, and mindfulness.
Lauren is in charge of the Facebook and Instagram accounts for Music & Mojitos. In addition to providing live coverage on social outlets, she knows how to craft engaging captions (with appropriate emojis) for both Facebook and Instagram.
Lauren has written blog posts for several online blogs in addition to her own (Girl in Gotham City), including: Hedonist/Shedonist, GIGSoup Music, Thought Catalog, and Buzz Tonight. She has written on a wide variety of topics, including travel, relationships, dating, and life in NYC. Lauren adopts the appropriate tone depending on the website and its audience.
