When Morgan is not enjoying the beautiful Vermont landscapes around her, she can be found drawing or reading a book.
Drawing is something that Morgan has always done, and she can't seem to remember a time when there wasn't a pencil in her hand. It is a skill that translates across all of her interests: from drawing floor plans or renderings, to drawing sewing patterns, to drawing character sketches or maps for her fiction work, and to simply just sitting down with a piece of paper and finding out where the pencil might take her.
Of all of Morgan's interests, reading is her deepest passion. To her, there is nothing like cracking open a book and letting your imagination run away with you. It is her love of the story that has led her to the writing path, and it is her love of story that makes her find the story in every writing assignment she completes.
Morgan earned her BFA at the well known Savannah College of Art and Design. Her knowledge base began with a foundation in traditional art, including: Color Theory, Drawing, Painting, 2-D and 3-D Design, as well as a deep understanding of Art History.
