Cassidy's interests are writing and learning new things
Cassidy is a senior at Virginia Tech. She is very active in Virginia Tech's Undergraduate Research Institute, as she acts as a liaison between those institution and students who are interested in research and publishing prospects. During the first semester of her sophomore year, Cassidy was invited to a renowned conference to present her theoretical essay of gender theory in Victorian England to faculty in peers. Her confidence and love for writing was birthed from this moment, as she realized she had the ability to produce ideas that are relevant and admired by the realm of academia.
Cassidy has had experience in delving into scholarly articles and literature and law. Her essay employs the use of a article in the Harvard review.
Her essay has been featured at three conferences at Virginia Tech. Cassidy's essay portrays marriage as containing the female threat in Victorian Literature.
