Aviram (native Hebrew speaker) has been a freelance English to Hebrew translator for more than 5 years and an editor and proofreader for over 8 years. In the past he lived and worked for a year in New Zealand.
He started in the translation filed translating many articles - mostly academic articles from Social Science (business, psychology, etc') and the Humanities (philosophy, art, history, education, etc') fields - for master and Ph.D students. Since then, Aviram came a long way and these days he translates many other kind of texts, such as movie subtitles (for ZOO Digital, for Warner Brother studies, for Dotsub, web TV series, etc), software and apps, marketing brochures, user guides, text in the IT field, general texts, etc.
Last year Aviram finished his studies of computer's networks and data security (Microsoft - MSCA qualification, Cisco CCNA, Linux, Checkpoint etc'), hence he is well familiar with the technical language in the IT field. Also he provides localization services and had translated many mobile and PC apps (among others for OneSky - localization company).
As part of his translation work he often conduct proofreading and QC for translations, such as, subtitles QC, translations proofreading in the IT field, editing of Bible commentary, online courses, etc.
A major editing project of was a substantive editing on the book "Megilat Esther - Megilat Hahipuchim" by Ilan Sendowski.
Beyond that, he's hard working, trustworthy, efficient, thorough and always deliver quality work before deadline. He always conduct a research for technical phraseology to ensure the correct translation is used.
Aviram is available throughout most of the day.
