Dilek has always been interested in languages and literature. She decided to move to Turkey from Sweden in 2005, and she started her bachelor's degree in Selcuk University, at the English Language and Literature program. She started to do translations mainly form Swedish to English and Turkish while she was studying. After her graduation she applied for master's degree in Women Studies at the same university. She is now writing her master thesis. She has been, at the same time, owner and founder of Plaza Translation and Language services since 2013.
