Ricardo has experience as a full time in-house translator at Primacy Idiomas, where he was responsible for the translation of official documents, scientific papers, financial texts, engineering manuals and HSE procedures, environmental science, law. (08/2013 to 10/2014)

Ricardo's experience as a freelance translator includes:
· Many articles and academic projects of diverse fields such as medicine, biology, anthropology, sociology, environment and philosophy.
· Translator and proofreader at Ted.com.
· Translated from Portuguese to English the script of the short motion picture The Baby of Tarlatana Rosa.
· Localization of studies from European to Brazilian Portuguese.

Plus: More than 500 comic books translated, in general from English to Portuguese, for SoQuadrinhos website. Among the tittles, there are magazines, almanacs, hard covers, graphic novels and themes ranging from humor, drama, thriller, erotic, science fiction and literature. (2007 to 2010)

Ricardo has arranged the translation of the catalogue for the Movie Festival Youth & Rebelliousness presented at Caixa Cultural. This includes subtitles for the movie Sweet Sixteen; translation of article "For a Performative Theatre in Pirandello: a brief dialogue with Deleuze and the theatre of repetition", published (in Portuguese and English) at v.4, n.3, of Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença (Sept. /Dec. 2014).

He has also completed translation of diverse material for Aeria Games, such as dialogues, instructions, game-related material; translating articles and publications for UTROS.

Ricardo has done a lot of work in the localization of websites in the subject of health, legal and business material for companies in the logistic sector, and translation of books for independent writers, many of which are now available on Amazon.
