Fernando received his Bachelor's degree in English and French languages back in 1982. He has studied International Relations at the University of Minho (Braga - Portugal). He has worked as a Bank clerk for 14 years and then as a car salesman for Citroen. Translation jobs have been a parallel amateur activity. His most significant works were the translation from Portuguese to English of two books on canine breeds, canine breeding and veterinary issues. Althought these were mostly coloquial books they needed also some technical accuracy.

Fernando has translated many magazine articles mostly about canine breeding as well as veterinary issues. He did not keep record of his work. He would love someone to give him a chance of proving his skills.

Fernando got his bachelor degree in French language back in the 1980´s at the Alliance Française Institute of Porto - Portugal. He is fluent and has travelled many times to France as a tourist and to visit friends there. He is quite fluent and reads a lot of French books and magazines but he never did a real job in translating it to his native Portuguese. He would like to have a chance!
