Jorge has loved the intricacies of language ever since he can remember, so he became a freelance translator over 11 years ago. He has a B.A. in International Business and a Specialization in Translation and Interpretation by Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, Mexico.
Jorge believes that, although most tend to feel at ease within a particular field, a translator must be able to convey ideas in different domains through research, resourcefulness and communication. This has allowed him to work in a variety of projects pertaining to a wide range of fields; from technical (electronics, IT, mechanical, popular science) to medical, financial, advertising, restaurant reviews... you name it. And he's eager to expand his linguistic horizons!
