While Las Vegas may be known for its wedding chapels with Elvis ministers, the marriage of great content and performance marketing isn’t some short-term affair. The harmonious relationship was clearly in evidence when WriterAccess showcased its online platform for hiring writers at this year’s LeadsCon conference. Held in early March at the fabulous Mirage Hotel & Casino, LeadsCon Las Vegas billed itself as “the definitive conference for vertical media and direct response marketing.
Founded in 2007, thousands of attendees now rely on LeadsCon for unparalleled insights, marketing ideas that work, and access to marketing leaders. Over 3000 attendees showed up in Las Vegas to hear 100+ speakers, attend educational sessions, and network in the convention hall. WriterAccess used its booth to connect with current customers and to explain the benefits of content marketing to potential clients.
The booth was manned by Glen Jackman, marketing specialist, and Robert Barnes, enterprise sales and business development. The pair greeted over 300 attendees, some of whom were satisfied WriterAccess customers who wanted to share their experiences in hiring writers to help create content for websites and blogs. They also expect to generate a lot of business from other attendees who wanted to know more about using content marketing to attract customers, build relationships, and help their business grow.
The conference was a perfect match for WriterAccess and attendees who are trying to understand the ever-changing landscape of performance marketing, content marketing and lead generation. "The WriterAccess team had a great time at LeadsCon connecting with industry leaders, prospects and customers,” commented Jackman. “In a business like ours we do a lot of communicating online. It was really powerful for us to meet people in person and see their eyes light up when we told them about the great resources and value that the WriterAccess platform has to offer."
Jackman and Barnes presented visitors with complimentary copies of two books written by company founder and Chief Idea Officer, Byron White. The books, Professional Writing Skill and Price Guide and The Content Marketing Roadmap, provide useful industry insights into using content marketing to generate leads and increase revenue.
Based on successes such as this, White also plans to launch the Content Marketing Conference in Las Vegas May 12 to 14. The purpose of this gathering will be to help WriterAccess customers, writers and prospects tune up their tactics and upgrade their content marketing savvy.
