Here's what's new and what's next with WriterAccess.
WriterAccess sponsored HubSpot’s preeminent industry conference serving up cappuccinos and content marketing success strategies to awaken and inspire attendees.
WriterAccess, the industry-leading content platform that helps businesses hire writers to propel their content marketing to higher levels, took up the challenge to “Come Together, Get Inspired, and Be Remarkable” as a sponsor of HubSpot’s INBOUND 2014 marketing conference. Led by founder, CEO, and Chief Idea Officer, Byron White, the company literally helped “fuel the passion that drives the most innovative and successful business leaders of our time” with its cappuccino and latte service.
Held from September 15-18 at the massive Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, INBOUND offered the opportunity for WriterAccess to connect its brand with more than 10,000 industry leaders from over 35 countries. Attendees were invited to stop, sip and learn about the WriterAccess content marketplace, where freelance writers, copywriters, and ghostwriters meet those in need of great content.
“We were looking for a unique, no-pressure way to spend time with show attendees,” commented White. “Because we offer an online platform that helps companies hire writers, we don’t often get to personally meet clients. By simply inviting guests to share a coffee with us we had the opportunity to meet some of our existing customers and put faces to names. We also had great discussions with a lot of prospective clients about our platform and explained how it can help them with their content projects.”
WriterAccess presented guests with free copies of the company’s Content Marketing Kit, as well as White’s books, Professional Writing Skill and Price Guide and The Content Marketing Roadmap. Some clients were also invited to an informal after-party at a local restaurant. Between serving cappuccinos and educating show attendees about the ability to access first-rate content from first-rate writers, team members took the opportunity to attend educational sessions and enjoy listening to premier industry speakers that included Martha Stewart, Malcolm Gladwell, Guy Kawasaki, Brian Halligan, and Dharmesh Shah.
Perhaps fueled by one too many of their own cappuccinos, the show team capped off this energy-boosting event by strapping their booth’s massive six foot sign to the top of White’s car and driving it back to their Boston office. They then proceeded to hoist it by rope through the company’s third floor window so other employees could share in their post-show enthusiasm.
