How Does the WriterAccess Publishing Integrations Tool work?

First, as a customer of WriterAccess, you order content from a freelance writer. Once you’ve approved the final order, you can move on to using the Publishing Integrations Tool. Find the tool under My Tools on the left sidebar of your client dashboard, then click Integrations under Workflow. Choose your platform from the logos displayed. Depending on which publishing platform you’re integrating, you’ll need to enter such details as your Twitter handle, your API key, username or password, or other authorization steps. This step provides the necessary connection between the WriterAccess platform and the publishing platform. (Note that the connection is completely secure, and the information you enter is not shared with anyone else.)

Next, you go to Manage Orders, and locate the approved content that you wish to publish on your chosen platform that you connected. In the top right hand corner, find the green button labeled “Export this order.” You’ll see a dropdown menu with a variety of options that include exporting as a Word file, PDF, etc., and one that corresponds to your chosen publishing platform. For instance, if you’ve connected the WriterAccess Publishing Integrations Tool to Drupal, you’ll see an option to export to Drupal. Select that option, and the approved content will be instantly exported to your Drupal platform.

Once it’s been exported, you’ll still be able to access it at WriterAccess platform from your client dashboard for record-keeping purposes. However, now it will also appear on your Drupal administrative dashboard.  You’ll then have a very detailed, instructive set of steps that will allow you to instantly publish, modify or otherwise edit your exported content.
