Hi there, my name is Allison Lynch.
If you’ve visited the WriterAccess website within the last three weeks, you probably saw my name pop up on the Live Chat box. And if you were curious enough to ask me a question, you probably had some engaging conversations with me regarding content strategy.
So first, let me confirm that, yes I am a real person! I’m a competitive runner, a gluten-free cook, and a proud owner of a New Zealand breed rabbit named Gumby. I’m also a freelance writer, like all of you writers here on WriterAccess. Writing is probably one of the greatest assets to have, and it’s a hobby/passion/job of mine that I’m proud of. Why is writing so valuable? Think about it. Nothing gets accomplished without a writer who knows what he or she is talking about. People think the age of the Internet is slowly killing the art of writing, but it has, in fact, increased the demand for relevant, quality web content amidst a sea of dead copy. People might argue that print journalism is a dying breed, but there’s no doubt that writing is a communication staple that’s here to stay.
Anyway, I’m going on a gung-ho writer tangent. The main point of this blog post is to let you know that I’m here for you – whether you’re a brand new writer to our platform, or a veteran client who’s looking to update to a Plus Service Account with added features. My job is to be your first point of contact, and to send you off to a corresponding team member, should you need additional service. I’ll be responding to a lot of Help Desk tickets, scheduling Demos, and of course, answering any of your questions on the Live Chat. My job makes the workflow a little easier for the WriterAccess team, who works hard at managing the thousands of clients and writers on a daily basis. My goal is to establish working relationships with both clients and writers, and to understand needs on both ends.
Working for WriterAccess these past few weeks has been my best gig thus far. I know it’s hard for some of you to imagine a staff halfway across the country, but I can assure you that these are some of the most motivated, innovative people I’ve worked with. We want good writers. We want happy clients. We want to make this content marketing thing easy for you. And of course, we want to have fun doing it, or else, what’s the point?
Please reach me at Allison(at)writeraccess.com for any questions, concerns, or comments. I’m happy to respond!
