On September 6-9, the WriterAccess team is heading to Cleveland to attend Content Marketing World!
It’s an extravaganza of all things marketing — great speakers, super cool events, sessions galore, and a great chance to chat with folks from all over the country.
Here are the top ten things we’re looking forward to. Don’t forget to stop by booth #97. We’d love to hear your favorite things too!
1. The City of Cleveland
We’re thrilled to explore this beautiful metropolis on the shores of Lake Erie.
It’s our first time in Cleveland, and the amazing people at Content Marketing Institute are doing everything they can to ensure all of their conference-goers are fully prepared for the Cleveland experience.
We’ve been salivating over the choices on their Restaurant Guide and checking out some of the local attractions Cleveland has to offer. If you think there is anything you forgot, CMI has you covered … and then some.
2. Painting the Town Orange
We’ll have some fun with all things orange, CMWord’s official color. You can expect to see this bright hue adorning just about everything.
If you’ve never seen Joe Pulizzi’s orange suit, you’re in for a treat. Feeling festive? Rock some orange at CMWorld and join the Orange Pants Society. I may or may not have ordered a bright orange skirt just for the occasion.
3. Seeing Our Friends
We’re looking forward to reconnecting with some of our favorite people at Content Marketing World 2016, some of whom we were lucky enough to have speak at our annual event, Content Marketing Conference.
We’re excited to learn more about strategic content ideation and creating a culture of content marketing from the always knowledgeable Arnie Kuenn. We were happy to hear Chad Pollitt will be doing a session on content promotion and thrilled to learn more after his CMC session on content amplification.
There’s a long list of WriterAccess friends we know are going to knock it out of the park, including:

4. Meeting New People
CMI did an amazing job putting together this year’s group of speakers. We have so much to learn from each and every one of them.
Pam Didner will be speaking about global content marketing, which is a topic that is particularly interesting to us, as we’ve recently added translators in 21 languages to our platform. There are so many nuances to marketing across different cultures, and we are sure Pam will be full of insight.
Wall Street Journal best-selling author Ann Handley is sure to blow us away with her sessions on improving your writing and examples of companies doing amazing things in marketing.
5. Learning from the Best
We’re very passionate about content marketing here at WriterAccess. We can’t wait to sink our teeth into some of these sessions. Check out a few that we’ve highlighted below, or see the full list.

6. Showing Off
We’re improving our user experience, making it even easier to find writers and order the content you need. We’re excited for the chance to share how companies (and agencies) are using content marketing to help their businesses grow. Stop by Booth #97 to learn more!
7. Making Memories
The WriterAccess team is no stranger to conferences and trade shows. It’s a great opportunity to grow together as a team and learn from some of the industry’s best and brightest. Plus, we always make sure we have time to have some fun!
And speaking of making memories….
8. Conference Events
Our friends in the marketing industry have mastered the balance between work and play, and Content Marketing World will be no exception.
We can’t wait for some of the events they have planned for us.
First up is the Creator Breakfast for all of the stellar talent who generates the content we live and breathe by, organized by Jay Acunzo,VP of marketing and support at NextView, plus numerous cocktail parties, networking lunches, and after parties.
Check out the CMW event list and follow Content Marketing Institute on Twitter for exclusive updates.
9. Swag
Look in your bag for a copy of the Professional Writing Skill and Price Guide, one of three books WriterAccess CEO Byron White wrote to help buyers and sellers of writing services get on the same page with quality and price.
Then stop by our booth for a free Content Marketing Guide and other WriterAccess swag! We’re excited to see what creative promotional items other sponsors bring to share.
10. Cheap Trick – Nuff said.
Doors open at 8:00 pm and the concert begins at 9:00 pm in The Music Hall. The Cheap Trick concert is only open to CMWorld attendees, so bring your dancing shoes (but leave your cameras at home). See you there!
